Project Details: 

STCI was the contractor selected by Nutrien to eliminate unnecessary material handling of scrap steel that was removed from underground. Their original system collected scrap steel at the top of their headframe; this created a labour-intensive process for moving materials. To reduces the labour involved with the process STCI completed the design, supply, and installation of a wear-lined chute that redirected the scrap steel from the top of the headframe to a collection bin on the ground.
