AT STC Industrial Contracting we take pride in supporting the communities, individuals and organizations where we live and work. We do so not only through our employment initiatives, but also in charitable giving, volunteering, sponsorships, mentorship programs and participation in community events.
We are proud to participate as sponsors and volunteers for the White Buffalo Youth Lodge Annual Back-To-School Backpack Program in Saskatoon. The event brings together community members and corporate sponsors to help local families in need, by reducing the barrier of buying school supplies and backpacks for the new school year. The carnival celebrates the end of summer and the return to school, while also providing much-needed supplies to those who may not otherwise afford them.
The Future Is Yours is Saskatoon’s largest Career Expo targeting Indigenous youth. Employers connect with youth who are employment ready or will soon enter the workforce. When young people succeed, we all do. STCI was proud to both sponsor this event, and participate with an information booth that allowed our team to meet with attendees and discuss career path opportunities in construction and manufacturing. The future is bright for homegrown talent right here in Saskatchewan!
The Nutrien Saskatoon Community Foundation Cultural Gala broke new ground for the Saskatoon Community foundation in so many ways. During the first 10 years of the Gala, SCF offered an incomparable experience featuring entertainment focused on the diverse cultures which make Saskatoon such a wonderful community. With the addition of a theme based in reconciliation and a production team unlike any we have engaged before, the event reached a new level of professionalism and thematic connection. The Gala created new partnerships, new opportunities and new relationships, in addition to raising over $260,000 for the good of the community. STCI was proud to be a sponsor of this event.
