STC Industrial Contracting Completes COR® Certification

August 28, 2018

STC Industrial Contracting is proud to have successfully completed our Certificate of Recognition audit through the Saskatchewan Construction Safety Association with an outstanding score of 92%.

The Certificate of Recognition (COR®) program is an occupational health and safety program designation verifying that a company has a fully-implemented health and safety program that meets national standards. COR® is nationally trademarked and is endorsed by participating members of the Canadian Federation of Construction Safety Associations (CFCSA), including the Saskatchewan Construction Safety Association (SCSA). The objective of COR® is to provide companies with the knowledge and tools to develop effective health and safety management systems to identify weaknesses that can lead to costly workplace injuries and incidents.

At STCI Safety is an integral part of our core values, and this certification is just part of showing our commitment to ensuring everyone goes home safe every day.

Thank you to all of our team for making safety a priority every day and for your part in this recognition.

SFEDN awards

June 26, 2018

On behalf of the seven communities of the Saskatoon Tribal Council and their members, STC Industrial Contracting is proud to accept the Community Economic Developer Award from the Saskatchewan First Nations Economic Development Network.  Thank you to everyone who helped us get to where we are today, and to everyone that is helping us build towards a better tomorrow for all.  We also wish to extend our congratulations to Lee Ahenakew in his receipt of the Individual Economic Developer Award from the Saskatchewan First Nations Economic Development Network. Lee is a long time leader for First Nations economic development and the award is well deserved. Congratulations Lee! Thank you to Shaun Soonias and the board at the SFNEDN for their hard work all year, and in putting on today’s event.
